Our Crèche service has been an integral part of building opportunities for women and children. Our crèche programme consists of long term, medium and short-term programme planning, covering each child’s learning and development needs. Consultation and seeking views of the children and their parents. Children at a very young age show signs of what interests them, even if their verbal communication is limited, hand control, eye contact, time spent on certain activities distinguishes their interests. Mothers and carers also express their opinions, discussing and planning effective ways their children can learn through play.
An integral process within this project, is putting emphasis on shared learning; mother/carer and child developing the future milestones for learning and encompassing parental responsibility in child’s education. The services we provide are very broad but interlinked. Most women need the use of the crèche in order to enjoy the activities that take place, but more importantly children under five years of age are integrating with other peers and the outcomes of attending the sessions have huge benefits to enriching their educational lives for the future. |
